I have used this gauge for a year now, and I have confidence in it. While I agree with the other reviewer that it is plastic and does feel like it would crack if dropped, I find it accurate and reliable. While I can't exactly test its accuracy, I can tell you that I get consistant results. The needle goes quickly and firmly to the appropriate reading, and doesn't jump around.
